The Children's Centre was opened in May 2006. It provides high quality intergrated services for children and their families, with outstanding full day care for 2 - 5 year olds.

Besides child care, the Centre also provides other services such as:

• A Bookstart Library Scheme, which helps children and working parents access library services on the Centre premesis at more flexible times.
• Advisory sessions on childcare, benefits etc.
• Parent and Toddler drop-in sessions
• Young Parent Support group
• New Mums & Mums to be group
• Ante natal classes
• Advice on Domestic Violence
• Childminder's drop-in sessions
